Our History
Family owned and operated, Palmer Roofing Service, Inc. has been rooted in the heart of Sonoma County for over 60 years.
1962
Upon return from World War II, PFC Dean Palmer founded Palmer Roofing in 1962 in the then-small town of Petaluma. Dean took pride in dedicated, hard work which inspired his son Herb to pick up a hammer and learn the trade from his father. During his high school summers, Herb was up on the roofs applying his passion for details, honing his craftsmanship, and delighting customers.
1981
After acquiring his father's business, Herb continues to evolve the business. Herb ran the business as a sole proprietor
1986
Palmer Roofing becomes an incorporated organiztion.
2008
After demonstrating outstanding commitment to quality and service, GAF certifies Palmer Roofing.
2024
